Accountant - Accounts Payable

Key Responsibilities

Oversee accounts Payable processes,

• Accounts Payable ,Other Receivable

• Oversee and manage accounts payable and other receivable functions

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments to vendors and suppliers.

• Follow up on outstanding receivables from patients, companies, and other parties wherever required.

• Cash Flow Management

• Monitor and manage the hospital's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational expenses.

• Reconcile cash and bank accounts and ensure proper management of cash reserves.

• Compliance and Audits

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and hospital policies.

• Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and ensure that any findings or recommendations are addressed promptly.

• Cost Control and Efficiency

• Identify areas for cost-saving and recommend initiatives to optimize hospital expenses without compromising quality of care.

• Monitor departmental expenditures and provide guidance to ensure cost control.

• Tax and VAT Compliance

• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT, and handle relevant reporting and filings.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the hospital.

• Inter departmental co- ordination

• Ensure a smooth workflow and coordination between the finance team and other hospital departments.

• Ad hoc Financial Tasks

Assist management with special financial reports as needed, providing strategic input on financial matters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
