Certified Medical Coder

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a /Coder/Insurance Officer in Hospitals/Medical Centers in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi
• Have an understanding of insurance policies and the regulations of UAE's Department of Health
• Have proficiency in DOH and Daman Adjudication rules
• Have the ability to obtain approvals in complex scenarios
• Have knowledge and understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
• Possessing experience in Rehabilitation.
• Experience in Tasneef ,Daman and DOH audit and preparation
• Well versed in preparing documentation and submission and auditing clinicians documentation.
• able to reconcile and generate management report, good knowledge and understanding of Daman requirements and able to reduce all kind of rejections.

Certification and Licensure

• CPC certificate is necessary
• APPC certificate is preferable
