Job Description As a consultant pediatric interventional cardiologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized and comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired heart diseases. You will collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions using various interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including echocardiograms, catheterizations, and angiograms, to assess and diagnose cardiovascular conditions in pediatric patients.
• Perform interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and balloon valvuloplasty to treat cardiovascular diseases in children.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing interventional procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their specific needs and conditions.
• Communicate with patients and their families to educate them on their condition, treatment options, and disease management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of pediatric interventional cardiology
• Attend and present at conferences, seminars, and educational events to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Pediatric cardiology and Iinterventional cardiology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cconsultantin Ppediatric interventional cardiology
• Expertise in performing a variety of interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and stenting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology in pediatric patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Western education/training required.
