American Hospital Dubai is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Pediatric Neurologist to join its multidisciplinary pediatric and neurosciences team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation and management of neurological disorders in infants, children, and adolescents, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care aligned with international standards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation and management of neurological disorders in infants, children, and adolescents, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care aligned with international standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of pediatric neurological conditions including epilepsy, developmental disorders, neuromuscular diseases, headaches, neurogenetic conditions, and movement disorders.
• Lead multidisciplinary care plans in collaboration with pediatrics, neurophysiology, rehabilitation, genetics, and psychology teams.
• Provide advanced clinical expertise in pediatric EEG interpretation and epilepsy management.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient pediatric neurology services across the hospital and satellite clinics.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and development of pediatric neurology protocols.
• Support education, mentoring, and continuous medical education for junior physicians and allied health professionals.
• Participate in service development and expansion of pediatric neurosciences programs.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree with completion of accredited Pediatric Neurology fellowship training.
• Board Certification (American Board, UK CCT, European Board, Arab Board, or equivalent Tier-1 qualification).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience at Consultant level preferred.
• Eligibility for DHA Consultant license.
