Daycare Assistant/Nanny

Job Summary

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic Daycare Assistant/Nanny to support teachers in providing a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate should be patient, attentive, and passionate about caring for young children.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
• Assist teachers during classroom activities, meals, and nap time.
• Help children with toileting, diaper changing, handwashing, and other hygiene routines.
• Feed and supervise children during snack and meal times.
• Comfort and care for children when they are upset or unwell.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic classroom and daycare environment.
• Clean and sanitize toys, furniture, and learning materials regularly.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up activities and play areas.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play.
• Encourage positive behavior using gentle and respectful guidance.
• Report any accidents, illnesses, or concerns to the teacher or management immediately.
• Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding policies.
• Support children in developing good manners, independence, and social skills.
• Assist with arrival and dismissal routines.
• Perform other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of child care and hygiene practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English .
• Physically fit and able to lift and assist young children when needed.
• Patient, caring, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
