Dental Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assisting General Dentists and Prosthodontists, with solid knowledge of clinical documentation and insurance approval processes. Experience in Abu Dhabi is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist General Dentists and Prosthodontists during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials according to infection control standards
• Assist in prosthodontic procedures, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and impressions
• Maintain proper chairside assistance during dental treatments
• Handle and organize patient records and clinical documentation
• Prepare and submit insurance approval requests for dental procedures
• Understand and coordinate procedures that require prior approval with different insurance providers
• Follow up on insurance approvals, rejections, and resubmissions when required
• Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with DOH and insurance guidelines
• Educate patients on post-treatment care as instructed by the dentist
• Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and stock management of dental instruments and materials

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Dental Assistant in Abu Dhabi (mandatory)
• Experience assisting General Dentistry and Prosthodontics
• Good knowledge of insurance documentation and approval processes
• Familiarity with procedures that require insurance pre-authorization
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and clinical workflows
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
