Dermatologist

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

• Diagnose and treat skin diseases, infections, allergies, and cosmetic concerns.
• Perform dermatological procedures, including cryotherapy, laser treatments, and skin biopsies.
• Provide consultations for acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other dermatological conditions.
• Conduct aesthetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, PRP, and laser treatments.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Interpret lab results and prescribe appropriate medications or therapies.

Patient Care & Safety:

• Ensure a patient-centered approach in treatment and communication.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Educate patients on skin health and preventive care measures.
• Follow hospital policies and infection control protocols.

Professional Development & Collaboration:

• Stay updated with the latest dermatology research and treatment advancements.
• Train and mentor junior doctors and medical staff in the dermatology department.
• Collaborate with other specialists and departments for multidisciplinary care.

Administrative Duties:

• Participate in hospital meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Comply with Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) regulations and licensing requirements.
• Maintain records and adhere to insurance and hospital documentation standards.
