DoH Licensed Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DOH-Licensed Psychologist to join our expanding clinical team. Operating within our state-of-the-art outpatient facilities, you will provide evidence-based psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions to a diverse patient population. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and family physicians

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic interviews and the administration/interpretation of psychometric tools.
• Evidence-Based Therapy: Deliver individual, group, or family psychotherapy sessions using recognized modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, or Systemic Therapy).
• Treatment Planning: Develop and regularly update personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with the patient and the treating psychiatrist.
• Outpatient Management: Manage a caseload of patients with varied presentations, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and adjustment to chronic health conditions.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain precise, timely, and confidential electronic medical records (EMR) in full compliance with DoH Abu Dhabi and Malaffi standards.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate psychological support and risk assessment for patients in acute distress, ensuring appropriate referral pathways are followed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Licensure: Must hold a valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license or a transferable DHA/MOH license with a valid Eligibility Letter.
• Education: A Master’s degree in a specialized field of Psychology (e.g., Counseling, Health, or Educational Psychology).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience relevant to the specialty.
• Fluency in Arabic is essential; proficiency in English is a highly valued asset for our patient demographic.
• Strong experience in outpatient clinical settings with a focus on adult or pediatric mental health.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
