Duct Factory Production Engineer

Position Title: Production Engineer – Duct Manufacturing Location: Jeddah, ksa

Role Overview

The Production Engineer will oversee and optimize the manufacturing processes of HVAC ducts and related sheet metal products. This role ensures production efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery while maintaining workplace safety and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

 Supervise daily production activities in the duct manufacturing facility.

 Plan, schedule, and monitor production to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.

 Ensure adherence to international standards and specifications (e.g., SMACNA, DW144, ASTM).

 Coordinate with the design, estimation, and sales teams to align production with project requirements.

 Implement and monitor quality control processes to minimize rework and waste.

 Maintain production equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance team.

 Optimize material usage and reduce production costs through efficient resource management.

 Prepare and maintain production reports, and documentation for management.

 Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related field.

 Minimum 7 years of experience in sheet metal or HVAC duct manufacturing.

 Strong knowledge of duct fabrication standards, manufacturing processes, and production planning.

 Hands-on experience with duct production machinery (shearing, plasma cutting, bending, flanging, etc.).

Familiarity with ERP or production planning systems
