ENT Specialist

ENT Specialist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. This role involves both medical and surgical care for patients of all ages, using evidence-based practices to improve patient health and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, head, and neck
• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and medical history reviews
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, audiometry interpretation, and imaging review
• Prescribe medications and non-surgical treatments
• Perform ENT-related surgical procedures when required
• Manage chronic ENT conditions and provide follow-up care
• Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and preventive care
• Follow hospital/clinic protocols and maintain patient safety standards

• Hearing loss and ear infections
• Sinusitis and nasal disorders
• Tonsillitis and throat infections
• Voice and swallowing disorders
• Allergies and sleep apnea
• Head and neck tumors (benign and malignant)

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Specialization in ENT / Otolaryngology
• Valid medical license and board certification (as required by region)
• Completion of residency or specialist training in ENT
