ENT Specialist

Specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. This medical professional provides both surgical and non-surgical care for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat disorders related to the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, head, and neck.
• Conduct patient consultations, evaluations, and physical examinations.
• Perform ENT-related surgeries such as tonsillectomies, sinus surgeries, ear tube placements, and other specialized procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic tests including imaging, hearing tests, endoscopy, and lab results.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic ENT conditions.
• Manage and treat allergies, hearing loss, balance issues, voice disorders, and sleep apnea.
• Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle or therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations.
• Participate in on-call schedules as required by the healthcare facility.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an Otolaryngology residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology.
• Valid DHA medical license to practice.
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to manage complex conditions.
• Compassionate approach to patient care.
