All employees are expected to act in accordance with these principles and contribute to a culture of professionalism, accountability, and ethical conduct. ⸻ Role Overview The Finance & Payroll Executive will support the financial operations of the Dubai headquarters while assisting with the coordination of financial reporting across the Group’s international services. This role is central to ensuring the smooth administration of payroll, financial record-keeping, and regulatory compliance within the UAE, while supporting the broader financial infrastructure of a growing international organisation. The position requires a highly organised and trustworthy individual who is comfortable working within a dynamic international environment and supporting senior leadership in maintaining strong financial governance. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Corporate Finance Administration • Support the financial operations of the Dubai headquarters. • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation. • Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports. • Monitor operational expenditure and assist with budget tracking. • Support cash flow monitoring and financial planning. ⸻ Payroll Administration • Manage payroll processing for Dubai-based employees in accordance with UAE labour law. • Process payroll through the Wages Protection System (WPS). • Maintain employee payroll records including salary adjustments, allowances, bonuses, and deductions. • Coordinate with HR regarding employee onboarding, offboarding, and payroll updates. • Prepare end-of-service benefit calculations and final settlements. ⸻ International Financial Coordination • Assist with financial reporting and coordination across international Group services. • Support the consolidation of financial data where required. • Prepare documentation and financial reports for senior management and governance purposes. ⸻ Accounts Payable & Receivable • Process supplier invoices and manage payment schedules. • Track receivables and support invoicing processes. • Perform regular bank reconciliations. • Maintain organised documentation for all financial transactions. ⸻ Compliance & Regulatory Requirements • Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and corporate governance requirements. • Maintain documentation required for VAT reporting, audits, and regulatory filings where applicable. • Support external auditors and professional advisors during financial reviews. • Maintain strong internal financial controls and reporting standards. ⸻ Systems & Process Development • Assist with the development and implementation of financial systems and reporting processes. • Support the improvement of financial workflows as the organisation expands. • Contribute to maintaining efficient and transparent financial operations. ⸻ Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance, payroll, or accounting roles. • Experience working within the UAE regulatory and payroll environment. • Strong understanding of WPS payroll processing. • Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar platforms. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. ⸻ Skills & Competencies • Exceptional organisational and financial record-keeping skills. • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information. • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. • Ability to work independently while supporting a senior leadership team. • Strong communication skills when coordinating across departments and international services. ⸻ Personal Attributes • Professional, dependable, and highly trustworthy. • Comfortable working within a developing global headquarters environment. • Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable to organisational growth. • Committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. ⸻ Employment Details Employment Type: Full Time Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Organisation: The Wave International Group – Global Headquarters
