Gastroenterologist

Ahalia Medical Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist / Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including outpatient consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing patient management.
• Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations and coordinate appropriate care plans.
• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation of outpatient and inpatient medical records, including consultation notes and procedure reports.
• Appropriately utilize diagnostic imaging services, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound investigations, to support clinical decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission International (JCI) standards and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of patient safety and care.

Requirements

• Valid Specialist / Consultant Gastroenterology qualification.
• Relevant clinical experience in gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures.
• Eligibility for licensing with UAE healthcare authorities (DOH).
• Strong commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence.
