General Practitioner

Job Summary

·     Patient Examination: Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.

·     Diagnosis: Diagnose a wide range of medical conditions and diseases.

·     Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

·     Preventative Care: Provide preventative healthcare services, including immunizations and health education.

·     Referrals: Refer patients to specialists when necessary for further evaluation and treatment.

·     Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.

·     Medication Management: Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness and side effects.

·     Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

·      Health Promotion: Advocate for healthy lifestyle choices and conduct health screenings.

·     Continuity of Care: Monitor ongoing patient health and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

·     Doctor of Medicine (MD) with Saudi Council Licensed

·     Completion of a residency program in family medicine or general practice.

·     Board certification in family medicine or a related specialty is often preferred.

·     Clinical experience during residency; additional experience may be preferred for some positions.

·     Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work well under pressure.

·     Technical Proficiency and Familiarity with electronic health records and other medical technologies.

·     Compassionate Care and commitment to providing patient-centred and compassionate care.

·     Must have e xperience in surgery and performing minor surgical procedures.
