General Practitioner (GP)

• Valid DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) Licennce

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient consultations (OPD)
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Prescribe medications as per DOH guidelines
• Manage minor procedures (suturing, wound care, abscess drainage, etc.)
• Interpret lab results and radiology reports
• Provide preventive healthcare and patient education
• Refer patients to specialists when required
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations and infection control protocols

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience
• UAE experience preferred
• Experience in:
• Family Medicine / Primary Care
• Acute case management
• Chronic disease management (DM, HTN, Asthma)
• Experience in a medical centre / day surgery centre preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication skills (Malayalam/ Hindi speaker preferred)
• Patient-focused approach
• Ability to handle high patient flow
• Knowledge of insurance approvals process
• Basic emergency handling (BLS/ACLS certified preferred)
