General Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients across all age groups in compliance with hospital standards and Qatar Ministry of Public Health regulations.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians and ensure accurate documentation.
• Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and clinical conditions, promptly reporting changes to the physician in charge.
• Assist doctors during diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries where required.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance protocols.
• Support new nurses, interns, and healthcare assistants by mentoring and guiding them.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
• Participate in accreditation, continuous medical education (CME), and in-service training programs.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all ethical and professional standards.
