Health Care Assistant

Al Taie Primary Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support our medical and nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care. The Healthcare Assistant will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily needs, supporting clinical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and doctors with basic patient care and clinical duties.
• Support patients with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, and comfort.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Take and record basic vital signs under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, and patient areas.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist in transporting patients within the facility when required.
• Refill medical supplies and report shortages.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school certificate or equivalent (Healthcare Assistant training is an advantage).
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Physically fit to assist patients with movement and daily activities.
• Caring, responsible, and patient-focused attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
