HSE OFFICER

Job Purpose: Support the HSE Supervisor in implementing project HSE plan for live refinery brownfield execution, conducting daily safety monitoring, toolbox talks, and ensuring compliance with SASREF safety standards, PTW procedures, and H2S protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation of project HSE plan for live refinery execution
• Conduct daily safety walkdowns and inspections of work areas
• Deliver toolbox talks (TBT) and safety briefings to work crews
• Monitor compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements
• Verify PPE compliance and proper use of safety equipment
• Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for routine activities
• Report and document near-misses and incidents
• Monitor gas testing protocols and H2S controls
• Verify scaffold tagging and inspection compliance
• Support SIMOPS coordination activities
• Maintain HSE documentation and daily safety reports
• Assist in emergency response preparedness and drills

Mandatory Requirements

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent safety qualification
• H2S certification (awareness level minimum)
• First Aid certification
• 5+ years HSE experience in KSA oil & gas with 3+ years in refineries
• Direct experience with SABIC/Aramco PTW systems
• Live refinery brownfield safety experience
• Transferable Iqama

Preferred

• SASREF-specific HSE experience
• IOSH Managing Safely certification
• Incident investigation training
• Scaffold inspection certification

Pay: ﷼8,000.00 - ﷼12,000.00 per month
