International Program Specialist – Research & Education

- About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to fill the role of International Program Specialist – Research & Education, with a specialization in the field of oncology, as well as a background in general clinical research. The incumbent will oversee and manage various international programs, including education, training, and research initiatives, aimed at advancing oncology knowledge and practice globally. This position will involve close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of programs and projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage, oversee, and facilitate all international oncology clinical trials in collaboration between CC Main Campus and CCAD. This includes working closely with Oncology Institute leadership and Research Department leadership to ensure effective project management and administration of clinical trial publications and marketing initiatives when applicable.
- Facilitate international recruitment across the research spectrum to develop research teams, working closely with CC Main Campus and CCAD.
- Collaborate with global Lerner research institutes across the CC enterprise to provide knowledge-sharing opportunities with CCAD, fostering collaboration and innovation in oncology research.
- Manage and coordinate various education and training programs aimed at training research personnel, clinical observers, and medical students in oncology, ensuring successful implementation and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and produce reports and data analyses to support organizational decision-making processes.
- Compile and analyze data from various sources to create comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and reports produced, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in healthcare related field
- Masters degree preferred
- Advanced degree preferred, in projected management, business or related discipline
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience healthcare operations. At least 3 years of supervisory and management experience in healthcare operations and/or education / training activities required.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare or academic sector.
- Project management certification such as, PMP is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
- Knowledge of oncology or healthcare education programs is advantageous.
