Medical Transcriptionist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist, in OPD.
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, and clinical documentation.
• Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Good command of written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
• Preferred candidates who are available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe medical reports, consultation notes, discharge summaries, operative reports, and other healthcare documentation.
• Review and edit dictated reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with documentation standards.
• Ensure all medical records are completed in a timely manner and maintained confidentially.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare professionals to clarify medical information when necessary.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records in accordance with DOH regulations and organizational policies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives related to clinical documentation and record management.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
