Payroll Specialist

We are looking for an outstanding Payroll Specialist to join our fact paced and dynamic Human Capital team.

In this role, you’ll take full ownership of end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. You'll also play a key role in leveraging our Human Capital Management System to generate payroll reports and streamline payroll operations across the organization.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Perform payroll process calculating the hours worked, all leave type application and to ensure the submission of the payroll register to Finance in a timely manner.
• Ensure that various payroll report generated through the system is updated as per the requirement of auditors and the management
• Ensure all employees are recorded within the designated cost center in consultation with the Financial Controller and assist in internal and external financial audit as and when required.
• Collaborate with the IT department in developing procedures that are related to automated payroll systems and in the maintenance of payroll computer systems.
• Recommend or participate in the development of new procedures and policies related to payroll operation
• Maintain updated employee payroll records, particularly all types of leave applied based on documentation approved by employee and respective Line Manager
• Maintaining of payroll files and records, including regular filing of correspondence and forms
• Remit and maintain salary deductions in respect of salary arrangements as approved in accordance with the policy.
• Ensure the accuracy of processing and documenting pension payments for UAE and GCC nationals
• Respond where possible to staff inquiries concerning their pay, salary certificates requests, issuance of salary slips and other related matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business administration, Finance or another related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in healthcare setup
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• High level of organization, accuracy, and efficiency
• Display of professionalism in maintaining confidentiality

• Prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively
• Liaise professionally with staff
