Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Pediatric Neurologist based in Ajman. The Pediatric Neurologist will provide specialized clinical care for children and adolescents with neurological conditions, including detailed consultations, diagnosis, and ongoing management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting neurological examinations, interpreting EEG and other diagnostic tests, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and monitoring treatment outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, communicating clearly with families and caregivers, maintaining accurate medical records, and adhering to all relevant clinical and regulatory standards. The Pediatric Neurologist will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives and may support the development of service protocols within the facility.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Pediatric Neurology, with strong foundational knowledge in Medicine and Neurology
• Experience managing epilepsy and other pediatric seizure disorders, including interpretation and application of EEG findings
• Valid medical license to practice as a Pediatric Neurologist, with eligibility to obtain and maintain relevant UAE/DHA credentials
• Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered, evidence-based care and to communicate effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills, with commitment to clinical governance, ethical practice, and regulatory compliance
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications or board certification in Pediatric Neurology or equivalent specialty
• Experience working in multidisciplinary or consultative healthcare environments; prior UAE or GCC experience is an advantage
