Pet Handler - Groomer

Job Title: Pet Handler / Basic Groomer

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Pet Handler / Basic Groomer to support daily clinic and grooming operations. The role involves handling animals safely, assisting with basic grooming tasks, and supporting the veterinary team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Animal Handling & Care

• Safely handle and restrain pets (dogs and cats)
• Assist with moving animals within the clinic/grooming area
• Ensure pets are comfortable, calm, and stress-free
• Monitor pets for any signs of distress or illness

Basic Grooming Duties

• Bathing and drying pets
• Brushing and detangling coats
• Basic trimming (sanitary trims, paw pads, nail clipping if trained)
• Cleaning ears and maintaining general hygiene
• Assist the groomer during grooming sessions

Veterinary & Team Support

• Assist the veterinary team and groomer as required
• Help restrain animals during examinations and treatments
• Prepare pets for procedures when needed
• Support overall clinic workflow and patient care

Hygiene & Facility Maintenance

• Clean and disinfect grooming tools and work areas
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels and bathing stations
• Follow infection control and safety protocols

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
