Registered Nurse

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role involves working in various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
• Perform various nursing procedures, including IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and wound care.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.

Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of nursing experience in acute care or relevant settings. Preferred qualifications include experience in the following areas:

• Critical care experience (ICU or PICU)
• Emergency medicine or trauma medicine
• Long-term care or assisted living environments
• Home health or hospice & palliative medicine
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and CPT coding
• Experience administering injections, performing phlebotomy, and conducting physical examinations
• Understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques
• Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities
• WORKING HOURS :12 HOURS PER DAY
