Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a strong background in the contracting industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project scheduling, planning, progress monitoring, and ensuring timely project delivery in line with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Prepare baseline programs, resource plans, and cash flow forecasts
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and risks
• Perform delay analysis and assist in claims (EOT, variations, etc.)
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and site teams
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
• Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with master program
• Ensure compliance with contract timelines and milestones
• Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning within the contracting/construction industry
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 is mandatory
• Experience in large-scale construction projects
• Solid knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE project experience
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts
• PMP Certification is an advantage
