• Ensures correct distribution and completion of imaging examinations and re-allocate if necessary.

• To ensure that patients' privacy and confidentiality are followed by the junior staff.

• Checks accuracy and authenticity of image acquisition. & evaluate for its technical quality.

• Must be aware of all aspects of using CR & PACS and assist staff when it is needed.

• Ensures proper patient preparation was carried out before any special procedure.

• Reviews all images for quality and identify problematic trends.

• Responsible for reporting all matters of relevance of concern to her superiors, particularly regarding breakdown of equipment or accepted department routines.

• Ensures all health and safety policies and procedures pertaining to department are observed.

• Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of her knowledge, skills and abilities.

• Assists in the quality control program in her area. ll. If assigned to USS Section

• She should perform the obstetric ultrasound as per the protocol agreed upon and ensure that all abnormal scans are seen by the Doctor.

• Keep the ultrasound equipment clean and use it according to manufacturers' specifications.

• Participates in Departmental on-call rota as radiology service demands.

• Maintains up to date knowledge of all developments and new techniques in her field as well as any changes in old examination or administrative protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Radiography from a recognized university.
• 12 years working experience in different imaging modalities from a recognized institution.
