Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist role based in Ajman. The specialist will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal management, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting outpatient clinics, performing obstetric and gynecologic surgeries and procedures, attending deliveries, and managing inpatient admissions and follow-ups. The role involves interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient safety and quality of care. The specialist will also participate in clinical governance activities, maintain accurate medical records, support compliance with local regulations, and contribute to patient education and community health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine with completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Demonstrated expertise in Obstetrics, including antenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postnatal care.
• Proficiency in Gynecology, including diagnosis and management of gynecologic disorders and preventive women’s health care.
• Advanced skills in Gynecologic Surgery and Surgery, including operative and minimally invasive procedures relevant to obstetrics and gynecology.
• Recognized specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (e.g., board certification or equivalent) and eligibility for licensure with relevant UAE health authorities (such as DHA, MOH, HAAD, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a hospital or multidisciplinary clinic setting, with a record of safe clinical practice and adherence to evidence-based guidelines.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered and culturally sensitive approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time and caseload efficiently, and maintain accurate, timely medical documentation.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, quality improvement, and participation in audits, case reviews, and clinical governance activities. <
