Supermarket Sales Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and customer-focused Sales Associates to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidates will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining inventory, and ensuring an efficient checkout process. We prioritize candidates who can communicate effectively in both English and Arabic.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Excellence: Greet customers warmly, assist them in locating products, and provide accurate information regarding pricing and current promotions.
• Inventory Management: Regularly restock shelves, monitor expiration dates, and ensure all products are displayed according to merchandising standards.
• Transaction Handling: Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Store Standards: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of aisles, display units, and checkout counters.
• Sales Promotion: Suggest related items or special offers to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales volume.

Candidate Requirements

• Age: 20 – 30 years old.
• Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
• Visa Status: Preference will be given to candidates on their own visa (Freelance / Spouse / Father’s sponsorship).
• Experience: Previous retail or supermarket experience within the UAE is a significant advantage.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, basic mathematical proficiency for cash handling, and a proactive, positive attitude.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per hour
