TAB Technician (Molecular Diagnostics – DHA Certified)

Job Summary

The TAB Technician will perform molecular diagnostic testing and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The role requires hands-on molecular laboratory experience, strong ISO audit knowledge, and a valid DHA license.

Key ResponsibilitiesMolecular Diagnostics

• Perform molecular testing including PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, and related techniques.
• Carry out DNA/RNA extraction, sample processing, and result validation.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain molecular diagnostic instruments.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of test results.
• Troubleshoot technical and assay-related issues.

Quality & ISO Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ISO 15189 / ISO 17025 quality standards.
• Actively participate in internal and external ISO audits.
• Prepare, review, and maintain SOPs, quality manuals, and records.
• Support CAPA, non-conformance, and risk management activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and data integrity as per regulatory requirements.

Laboratory Operations

• Follow DHA regulations, laboratory safety, and biosafety guidelines.
• Manage reagent inventory and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Support method validation, verification, and quality control programs.
• Train and support junior staff when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Valid DHA License / DHA Eligibility Letter (Mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a molecular diagnostics laboratory.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of molecular diagnostic techniques.
• Practical experience in ISO audits and quality systems.
• Excellent documentation and compliance skills.
• Ability to work independently in a regulated environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED5,500.00 per month
