Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Ultrasound Technician role based in Ajman. The Ultrasound Technician will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including vascular and abdominal studies, following established clinical protocols and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, explaining examinations, operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, and capturing high-quality images for accurate interpretation by physicians. The role also involves documenting findings in patient records, collaborating with medical and radiology teams, and adhering to local regulatory and facility policies. The Ultrasound Technician is expected to support a patient-centered environment, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to continuous improvement in imaging procedures and workflows.

Qualifications

• Clinical knowledge and experience in Medicine and Radiology relevant to diagnostic ultrasound practice.
• Certification or eligibility with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or equivalent recognized credential.
• Demonstrated skills in Vascular ultrasound imaging and interpretation support.
• Proficiency in Abdominal ultrasound examinations and image acquisition.
• Recognized diploma or degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or a related field.
• Valid or eligible professional license in the UAE (e.g., DHA, MOH, HAAD, or DHCC), in line with local regulations.
• Strong patient communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and respond to questions with empathy.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow protocols, and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and infection control.
• Capability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams and adapt to evolving clinical practices.
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinic setting in Dubai or the wider GCC region is an advantage.
