Job Description Summary

The Associate Cath Lab Technologist is responsible to help interventional cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional procedures using advanced fluoroscopy equipment to help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients.

Operational Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Fluoroscopy and hemodynamic equipment.
  • Perform physiological assessment and imaging modalities (FFR, IFR, IVUS, OCT), Understand cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Scrub & circulate in diagnostic and coronary intervention, electrophysiology studies & structural heart procedures.
  • interrogate implantable devices (PPM, ICD & CRT-D) and change the device parameters as indicated.
  • Operate mechanical support devices (IABP & ECMO).
  • Contribute to maintain the organization KPIs, and quality control and improvements

Minimum Education Required

Associate or Bachelor’s Science degree in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology or related Health science degree

Professional Certifications Required

  • Must be Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or any other recognized credentialing body
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for HealthCare workers
