About The Role MedAire is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and expand our aviation business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving commercial growth across the aviation sector.

The BDM will research and target key aviation prospects, develop and execute strategies to meet client needs, and play a key role in business negotiations. This position will also focus on maintaining and growing relationships with existing strategic aviation clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and product engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve new business, renewal, and account extension revenue targets.
  • Identify and target key business prospects; develop and execute business development strategies.
  • Provide customer feedback to development teams; establish relationships with potential partners and customers.
  • Handle proposal generation, contract negotiation, and distribution of collateral.
  • Lead and participate in government and non-government tender processes.
  • Utilize Sales Force for client/prospect data management and progress evaluation.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Director, Middle East, for strategic planning and sales opportunity maximization.
  • Maintain and enhance key client relationships; negotiate complex regional deals.
  • Participate in sales pipeline reviews and prepare internal business review content.
  • Organize and lead annual Client Advisory Forum initiatives and drive thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Ensure problem resolution, administrative and financial activities are timely and effective.
  • Onboard new clients, while maintaining others.
  • Build internal networks for collaboration and cross-selling.
  • Attend and participate in sales, product, and professional development training.
  • Engage in industry events, including presentations and potential sponsorship.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations

Required Work Experience & Key Competencies

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in direct B2B solution/consultative selling experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in sales or account management.
  • Strong working relationships within the KSA aviation industry.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills including but not limited to the ability to present to groups and to interpret and summarize complex written materials.
  • Demonstrated effective problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing various CRM and software programs (example Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Salesforce.com).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Required Languages

  • English proficiency.
  • Arabic proficiency.

Travel / Rotation Requirements

  • Both domestic and international travel may be required.
  • Up to 50% travel expected.
