Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our Mental Health team. The role involves psychological assessment, therapy delivery, and contribution to research and community outreach. The ideal candidate will be proactive, ethical, and committed to advancing patient care within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric interviews and gather diagnostic data.
• Provide therapy sessions (individual, couples, family, and group).
• Apply behavioral and cognitive-based treatment methods.
• Administer and interpret psychometric tests for evaluation.
• Support research, training, and professional development activities.
• Engage in community mental health initiatives.
• Provide on-call support for urgent cases.
• Collaborate with the broader care team.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Adhere to DOH regulations, JCI standards, and international guidelines.
• Comply with OSH and infection control procedures.
• Participate in drills, hazard reporting, and emergency response.
• Ensure correct use of PPE and follow waste management protocols.

Qualification, Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical practice.
• Licensed in home country + DOH license/eligibility for Abu Dhabi.
• Strong background in psychological testing, therapy planning, and diagnostics.
• Excellent communication in English (Arabic an asset).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-focused, ethical approach.
