Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Adult Critical Care Physician to join a leading tertiary healthcare facility in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will provide expert management of critically ill adult patients in intensive care settings while working within an internationally accredited multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill adult patients in ICU and critical care units.
  • Lead the treatment and stabilization of patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Perform critical care procedures including airway management, central line insertion, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary medical and surgical teams.
  • Participate in rapid response and emergency care management.
  • Ensure evidence-based clinical practice and adherence to international patient safety standards.
  • Supervise junior physicians, residents, and ICU staff.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education activities.

Requirements

  • MBBS / Medical Degree with specialization in Critical Care Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, or related specialty.
  • Board Certification / CCT / European Board / Facharzt / American Board or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of Consultant-level critical care experience.
  • Experience in tertiary hospitals or internationally accredited healthcare facilities preferred.
  • Eligibility for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) licensing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • UK CCT, Irish, European, Australian, Canadian, or American Board Certification.
  • Experience managing high-acuity ICU environments.
  • Expertise in advanced ventilation and critical care technologies.
