Hiring: Cost Controller – Construction

Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: Up to AED 20,000 (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling project costs throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring financial efficiency, budget compliance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost plans.
• Track project expenditures and compare actual costs against approved budgets.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports for management.
• Monitor material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, and Finance teams.
• Review purchase orders, invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.
• Assist in cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
• Ensure accurate cost allocation and maintain cost control documentation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
• Support tendering, estimation, and commercial activities when required.
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Cost Controller in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost management, budgeting, forecasting, BOQs, and contract administration.
• Experience working on high-rise, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• UAE construction experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
• Experience in project cost forecasting and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.

Salary: Up to AED 20,000 per month (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
