DERMA NURSE

We are an aesthetic clinic in Dubai seeking a skilled DHA-licensed Derma Nurse to join our growing team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:·

To prepare the patient for derma and aesthetic treatment and to care for them before, during, and after treatment, giving emotional and physical support and encouragement as required throughout, ensuring their comfort, and therefore making treatment easier for everyone.

· To give assistance to the doctors during all dermal procedures, enabling treatment to be carried out to a high standard, and writing up patient records under instruction for the clinician.

· To attend to the cleanliness of treatment areas and accompanying units, lights, and other specialist equipment in accordance with the Control of Infection Policy.

· To prepare and apply anesthesia cream, as required for each procedure and to be aware of DHA guidelines for each applied material

· Adhere to health and safety protocols as well as cross-infection to the highest standard.

· Provide the doctors with the correct instruments and equipment.

· Serve as an assistant to the doctors during treatment by passing relevant equipment and instruments to them.

· To assist in the delivery of pre- and post-operative instructions and to provide dermal health instruction, giving the patients and their carers the knowledge, skills, and confidence to improve and maintain good health.

Education

· Diploma in Derma Assisting/Nursing

· Valid DHA License OR Eligibility Letter.

· Completed Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS).

Experience

· At least 1 year of professional experience in similar position
