DHA Licensed General Practitioner (Functional Medicine / Emergency Response Experience)

Position Overview

Dr. Ozone Clinic is seeking a full-time DHA Licensed General Practitioner with proven experience in Functional Medicine or strong hands-on experience in Emergency Response with excellent cannulation skills.

This role is ideal for a compassionate and skilled practitioner who is confident in clinical decision-making, experienced in patient-centered care, and committed to delivering high-quality medical services in a dynamic clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Medicine Focus (Preferred Track)

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments using conventional and functional medicine frameworks
• Develop customized treatment plans targeting the root causes of chronic conditions (gut health, hormonal imbalances, inflammation, toxicity, nutritional deficiencies, etc.)
• Interpret advanced diagnostic tests (GI MAP, DUTCH test, Organic Acids, food sensitivity panels, hormonal panels, etc.)
• Educate patients on integrative health strategies, nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle interventions
• Collaborate with in-house specialists in detox, nutrition, and wellness therapies
• Maintain accurate DHA-compliant medical documentation and follow-ups

Emergency / Clinical Skills Track (Alternative Qualification)

• Provide high-quality primary care and urgent care management
• Demonstrate strong and steady hands in IV cannulation and emergency procedures
• Respond effectively and confidently in acute care situations
• Ensure proper documentation in compliance with DHA regulations

Required Qualifications

• Valid DHA License as a General Practitioner (Mandatory)
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on clinical experience
• Either:
• Proven experience in Functional Medicine (clinical application required), OR
• Strong Emergency/Acute Care background with excellent cannulation skills
• Certification or formal training in Functional Medicine (IFM, A4M, or equivalent) – highly preferred
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Professional, empathetic, and patient-centered approach

Preferred Experience (Functional Medicine Applicants)

• Nutritional science and supplementation protocols
• Detoxification pathways and gut health restoration
• Hormonal balance and lifestyle medicine
• Managing chronic conditions such as:
• Autoimmune disorders
• Chronic fatigue
• Digestive disorders
• Metabolic syndrome
