DOH Audiologist

Job Type: Part time. Job PurposeWe are seeking a qualified and patient-centric Audiologist to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will diagnose, manage, and treat patients with hearing, balance, and related ear disorders using advanced diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic hearing and balance evaluations for pediatric and adult patients.
• Interpret assessment results to determine the type and degree of hearing loss.
• Recommend, fit, program, and maintain hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and cochlear implants.
• Design and implement individualized audiologic rehabilitation plans.
• Counsel patients and their families regarding hearing health, communication strategies, and device management.
• Maintain accurate, compliant electronic medical records in accordance with DOH standards.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Must possess a valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi License as an Audiologist OR an active DOH Eligibility Letter.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology or Speech & Hearing Sciences from an accredited institution.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience for Bachelor’s degree holders.
• Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience for Master’s degree holders.
• Skills: Excellent communication, patient care, and technical proficiency with modern audiological software and equipment.
