Job Summary
The Registered Nurse – Emergency Medicine provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced emergency environment. The role involves rapid assessment, clinical intervention, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety while managing acute and critical cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid triage, assessment, and prioritization of patients based on clinical urgency.
- Provide direct nursing care to emergency patients, including trauma, medical, and surgical emergencies.
- Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and patient responses to treatment continuously.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions as per physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures, resuscitations, and advanced life support activities.
- Operate and monitor emergency equipment such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, defibrillators, and infusion pumps.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records and electronic systems.
- Ensure infection control, patient safety, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families during critical situations.
- Participate in emergency drills, continuous education, quality improvement activities, and mentoring of junior staff.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid Registered Nurse License (DHA or eligibility to obtain DHA license).
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (Mandatory).
- PALS and Trauma certification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a busy Emergency Department in ED hospital.
- Proven experience handling high-acuity patients, trauma cases, and critical emergencies.
- Strong clinical decision-making and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
