EMS Director / Advanced Paredic

We are seeking a qualified and experienced EMS Director / Advanced Paramedic to lead Emergency Medical Services operations in compliance with Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) and relevant UAE health authority regulations. The role combines advanced clinical practice with strategic, operational, and people management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Direct and manage day-to-day EMS operations in line with DCAS policies, UAE laws, and international EMS standards. Provide clinical leadership and ensure high-quality pre-hospital emergency care. Ensure full compliance with DCAS, DHA, MOHAP, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain EMS clinical guidelines, SOPs, and operational policies. Oversee recruitment, staffing levels, duty rosters, performance management, and staff discipline. Lead training programs, clinical competency assessments, CME, and skills validation. Coordinate with DCAS, hospitals, medical centers, and government entities. Ensure readiness and compliance of ambulances, medical equipment, medications, and supplies. Monitor KPIs, response times, clinical audits, incident reports, and quality improvement initiatives. Act as the primary point of contact during major incidents, emergencies, and audits. Prepare operational, clinical, and regulatory reports as required. Mandatory Requirements Licensed Advanced Paramedic (DCAS eligibility or ability to obtain DCAS approval). Minimum 3 years of EMS management or leadership experience in the UAE or equivalent regulated EMS system. Strong knowledge of DCAS regulations, UAE EMS laws, and emergency response frameworks. Proven experience in managing EMS teams, operations, and emergency deployments. Valid UAE driving license (preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency situations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Paramedicine, Emergency Medical Services, Healthcare Management, or related field. Previous experience working with DCAS-approved EMS providers. Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, ITLS / PHTLS, and disaster management training.
