Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist

We are looking for for the position of a qualified gastroenterologist and hepatologist to consult and diagnose patients, inspecting internal organs through endoscopic procedures, and manage disorders in the liver, biliary tract, gallbladder, and pancreas.The responsibilities of a hepatologist include consulting on liver problems, conducting follow-up care of liver transplant patients, and performing various surgical procedures. They are highly skilled specialists with a comprehensive understanding of all gastroenterological conditions and treatment options.

Finally, a top-notch Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist has a vast knowledge of hepatology and the gastrointestinal system, strong teamwork skills, and solid verbal and written communication skills.

Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist Responsibilities

• Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns.
• Performing specialized tests to diagnose patients.
• Determining proper courses of treatment.
• Consulting with a patient's primary doctor.
• Analyzing patient historical data.
• Consulting with other specialists, such as oncologists, in the case of cancer.
• Performing endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs.
• Performing X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning.
• Performing surgery in the digestive tract.
• Monitor patients liver, gallbladder and biliary tract conditions.

Requirements

• Medical degree completed
• Specialisation in gastroenterology and hepatology.
• Must be a licensed practitioner.
• Proficiency in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures.
• Proficiency with X-Rays, MRIs, and ultrasound scanning.
• Attention to detail.

Salary : AED 60K to 70K AED
