About the Role

Kingston Education Training Centre is seeking an experienced Aconex Document Controller with teaching or training experience to deliver practical, industry-focused training sessions. The successful candidate will share professional expertise in Oracle Aconex, helping learners develop the skills required for document control roles in construction, engineering, and project management environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations on Oracle Aconex.
• Teach document control principles, workflows, document lifecycle management, transmittals, correspondence, RFIs, submittals, and document review processes.
• Demonstrate project setup, document numbering, metadata, workflows, user management, and reporting within Aconex.
• Use real-world project examples, practical exercises, and interactive learning activities.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a supportive, professional, and interactive learning environment.

QualificationsRequired

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as an Aconex Document Controller or in a related document control role.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle Aconex and document management systems.
• Previous teaching, lecturing, corporate training, mentoring, or classroom instruction experience is required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Oracle Aconex certification or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project management projects.
• Knowledge of document control standards, ISO documentation practices, and project coordination.
• Experience with other Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) is an advantage.
