Laser Technician / Derma - RN (DOH)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Laser Technician with a valid DOH/Eligibility (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) license to join our clinic. The ideal candidate will perform a range of laser and aesthetic treatments in compliance with DOH regulations, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal, and other laser-based aesthetic treatments
  • Conduct patient consultations to assess skin type, treatment suitability, and contraindications
  • Operate and maintain laser equipment (e.g., IPL, Nd:YAG, diode, CO2 lasers) safely and effectively
  • Follow all DOH clinical protocols, infection control, and safety guidelines
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
  • Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care
  • Monitor patient reactions during and after procedures, escalating concerns to the supervising physician as needed
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated, cleaned, and maintained per manufacturer and clinic standards
  • Stay updated on new laser technologies, techniques, and DOH regulatory updates

Requirements

  • Valid DOH license/Eligibility as a Laser Technician (mandatory)
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nursing, Biomedical Science, Dermatology-related discipline)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience operating aesthetic laser devices
  • Strong knowledge of skin types, Fitzpatrick scale, and laser safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multiple laser platforms
  • Previous experience in a UAE-based clinic
  • BLS/CPR certification
