Medical Insurance Coordinator

To perform the entire task or any task given by management.

• Respond to patient inquiries by phone and email.

• Perform data entry and filing to record patient and insurance data.

• Check Patient’s eligibility with insurance companies through Insurance Portals.

• Take approval from Insurance Company by phone, e-mail or insurance portals.

• Be familiar with local insurance applications, CPT codes, ICD Codes, etc.

• Comply with patient confidentiality and patient rights guidelines.

• Familiarize self with all the insurance company’s policy and standard procedures.

• Checks the daily insurance job order paper for any discrepancy or missing documents ( e.i. Claim Form, MD’s stamp, validity of the card, letter of approval and co-payment

• Sends approval request for walk-in and referred patients and follow-up the status of the request for any pending documents or reports and inform the patient once the request has been approved through SMS.

• Provides reimbursement forms for any insurance cash patients.

• Performing submissions and resubmissions of the claim.

• Sends the monthly insurance claims through courier, insurance portals or DHPO.

• Prepare outstanding report for all Insurance Companies.

• Follow-up for Payments.

• Prepare Reconciliation Report and Collection Report.

2-3 years experience in a diagnostic centre is preferred in UAE
