Occupational Therapist

Role Description The Occupational Therapist role at HIGH QUALITY HEALTH CONSULTANCY is a full-time, on-site position based in Ajman. The Occupational Therapist will assess clients’ functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve daily living, motor, sensory, and cognitive skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical evaluations, documenting progress, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and educating clients and families on therapy goals and home-based activities. The role involves working with diverse age groups, including pediatric and adult populations, and may include participation in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning. The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to service quality by following clinical guidelines and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with demonstrated ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Relevant knowledge of Medicine and healthcare practices to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including assessment and intervention for children with developmental, physical, or sensory needs.
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals, and for clear clinical documentation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional license or eligibility for licensing in the UAE (DHA/MOH/HAAD or equivalent), as required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to accurate record-keeping and regulatory compliance.
