Physiotherapy Assistant (Licensed)

Position Summary:
As a Licensed Physiotherapist - Manual Manipulation Specialist at Healthline Day Surgery Center, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to improve the lives of our patients. Your expertise in manual manipulation and proficiency in a wide range of treatment modalities will be instrumental in providing individualized care and helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate manual manipulation techniques and other evidence-based modalities.
• Administer manual therapy, mobilization, and manipulation to alleviate pain, restore function, and enhance mobility.
• Utilize various treatment modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold therapy, as appropriate.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and home care routines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and support staff.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Physiotherapist.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physiotherapist, with a focus on manual manipulation and diverse treatment modalities.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Proficiency in assessing and diagnosing physical conditions.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hands-on skills in manual manipulation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 per month
