Plastic Surgeon

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through consultations, medical history review, and diagnostic assessments.
• Discuss treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and obtain informed consent.
• Perform reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures such as:
• Rhinoplasty
• Blepharoplasty
• Liposuction
• Breast augmentation/reduction
• Facelift procedures
• Scar revisions
• Burn reconstruction
• Perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures (e.g., fillers, Botox, laser treatments) when applicable.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including follow-ups and complication management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous medical education (CME).
• Supervise and train junior medical staff when required.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent).
• Board Certification in Plastic Surgery.
• Valid medical license (as per country regulations – e.g., QCHP/MOPH if in Qatar).
• Minimum X years of post-board experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• Proven surgical competence and portfolio of cases.
