PR & Business Development Manager

HMS Healthcare Group is seeking a PR & Business Development Manager to build our brand presence while identifying and developing strategic partnerships that drive growth. This is a dual-focus role combining external communications with business development opportunities.

PR & Communications (50%)

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to build HMS brand recognition in the UAE
  • Manage media relations and secure coverage for new service launches
  • Position HMS physicians and leadership as thought leaders
  • Handle crisis communications and reputation management when needed
  • Create press releases, media kits, and communication materials
  • Build relationships with healthcare journalists and media outlets

Business Development (50%)

  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with other healthcare providers
  • Explore and pursue medical tourism opportunities for HMS
  • Build corporate wellness partnerships (B2B relationships)
  • Support physician recruitment initiatives through network building
  • Research market opportunities and competitive landscape
  • Represent HMS at industry events and conferences

Essential Requirements

  • 6-8+ years in PR, communications, or business development (healthcare sector preferred)
  • Proven track record in media relations and securing press coverage
  • Experience identifying and closing strategic partnerships
  • Strong network in UAE healthcare, corporate, or media sectors
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a strong plus)
  • Understanding of healthcare industry dynamics and regulations
