Job Purpose

To ensure the quality, compliance, and operational excellence of the CHUA (Cold-Chain Healthcare & Urgent Applications) logistics systems, processes, and services in accordance with internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. The CHUA Specialist will monitor, verify, and improve quality control procedures related to storage, handling, and distribution of sensitive healthcare products.
Key Accountabilities
Operational
- Conduct quality checks and inspections of cold-chain logistics processes and CHUA systems.
- Monitor temperature-sensitive shipments and ensure compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and internal SOPs.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for any quality-related issues.
- Ensure documentation accuracy, including batch records, deviation reports, and inspection logs.
- Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure that quality control standards are consistently maintained in day-to-day operations.
Strategic
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across CHUA operations.
- Analyze quality trends and suggest data-driven strategies to reduce risks and enhance service quality.
- Assist in audits (internal, customer, and regulatory) by providing necessary documentation and leading quality process reviews.
- Contribute to the development and periodic revision of quality manuals, SOPs, and training materials related to CHUA processes.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Quality Management, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in a quality control or cold-chain logistics environment within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with CHUA systems or temperature-controlled healthcare logistics is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of GDP, GSP, and other relevant quality standards.
- Proficient in documentation, reporting, and data analysis.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with QMS (Quality Management Systems) and audit procedures.
- Technical understanding of cold-chain equipment and monitoring tools.
