We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiography Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The Radiography Technician will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate image production to support clinical decision-making.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Radiography Technician looking to work in a supportive and professional healthcare environment with modern imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiographic examinations as assigned
- Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images
- Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection and infection control protocols
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment according to established standards
- Review images for clarity and accuracy before submitting to the Radiologist
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with DOH regulations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to quality assurance and safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Valid DOH license as a Radiography Technician
- ARRT certification (or equivalent, if applicable)
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with PACS and digital imaging systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a hospital or multi-specialty clinic setting
- Experience with additional imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI)
- BLS certification
- Strong patient care and customer service skills
